Meet the Maker
I've always loved making things with my hands. At first that meant garden sheds, chicken coops, and plant holders — but when my Nashville home flooded in 2020, I ended up rebuilding it almost from the ground up, and that's when I really started honing the craft.
Once the house was whole again, I moved to Chattanooga and leaned all the way into this work, turning a lifelong passion into a profession. For me that means wandering lumber yards, sketching designs in the middle of the night, and even visiting museums in Japan to learn from some of the original masters of the craft. My formal training is actually in mathematics and statistics — it once had me behind a computer, but I love finding ways to bring that past life into the work at the bench.
I take on a limited number of projects at a time, so every piece gets the attention it deserves — from the first cut to the final coat of finish.
